Different preparation methods bring out new and exciting flavour attributes. Sashimi displays aromas of crisp sea air and fresh seaweed complimented by a burst of salty oceanic flavour, sweet fresh oyster, umami, and nutty notes, while searing our abalone brings out a springy chew, sweet and smoky attributes like fried scallop and pork and steaming enhances tenderness and the balance of salty oceanic and umami flavours, bringing out tastes of sweet fresh oyster, umami, and green seaweed.

At Eyrewoolf Abalone, sustainability is front of mind. Your abalone will be delivered in an eco-friendly box containing multiple pieces inside an insulated wool pouch. The wool insulation is totally compostable and biodegradable. Each abalone comes in a plant based carbon neutral vaccum pouch, designed for easy defrosting. Simply place pouch into the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours, and consume within three days. For preparation instructions please see our products page.
