Les Vignes d’Autefois was disgorged in December 2021. Les Vignes d’Autrefois (the vines of another time) is produced from a single four-tonne press of grapes from old vines(100% old-vine Meunier), planted between 1947 and 1964.
Using old Burgundy barrels for the aging (including some sourced from Montille and Leroux), the wine has aged for seven months in the barrel, followed by 30 months on lees in the bottle.
All this contributes to this gorgeous cuvée, a tribute to ancestors and the grape variety Pinot Meunier
